Ape also known as Carlo Pellegrini (March 1839 - January 1889), an artist who served from 1869 - 1889 as a caricaturist for popular magazine Vanity Fair. His work for the magazine made his reputation becoming its most influential artist. As the first caricaturist employed by Vanity Fair, he famously signs his work as 'Ape'.

This vintage reproduction print has a minimalistic and quirky appeal, set within a black border that beautifully frames the gentleman. Printed on high quality 250gsm matte photo paper and finished with float glass. Select from our rustic antique wooden frames to complete the aesthetic.
